Please safeguard our flowers and plants, seeds and trees. Watch where you step and please leave everything as you first discovered it. Please do not walk through plant beds. Sometimes small seedlings may be trying to grow underneath. Some species are very fragile, so take caution when touching blooms, leaves, branches, etc.
Parking is located in the gravel lot across the street from the Visitor’s Center. Please do not park on Wimpole Avenue or in any unmarked areas.
Please keep your personal items with you at all times. KBGA cannot be held responsible for missing items. If you recover an item on the grounds that does not belong to you, please turn it in to the Visitor’s Center.
Cameras are permitted in the Gardens and we want you to share your pictures with family and friends. If you happen to get a great shot, we’d love to see it! Send them to firstname.lastname@example.org or share it on our Facebook page. Professional photographers are asked to join as members. Please review our Photography Policy for more information.
Please do not litter! There are numerous trash and recycling receptacles on the grounds. Pets are allowed on leashes, provided you clean up after them.
Groups of 20 or more must call the KBGA office during regular business hours to make a reservation. Large groups that do not make prior arrangements may be asked to leave if your visit conflicts with other scheduled events.
During private events, sections of the garden are reserved and may be closed to the public. Please respect those that have rented the garden and avoid closed areas. Check the Events Calendar for more information and to see reserved dates.
Formal/informal groups or parties are not allowed to hold meetings, weddings, memorial services or any other events at the Garden without permission. Visit Rent the Garden for more information or call 865.862.8717.
Artists are welcome in the garden! Please do not block pathways or enter planted or mulched beds. Please dispose of wastewater carefully in sinks; do not dispose on walkways, benches, plants, or garden areas.
KBGA reserves the right to ask any visitor to leave for inappropriate or offensive behavior. Visitors will be held liable for any damage to the Gardens.
