Join us for a morning of exploring our wildflower meadow through a guided practice of botanical sketching, led by our friends at the Museum of Infinite Outcomes here in Parkridge.
Even if you don’t consider yourself an artist, our leaders will guide you through the process of getting to know the shapes and structure of plants with short group 1-minute and 5-minute sketches, with some time at the end for longer drawings with more 1:1 feedback.
All materials are provided, and no experience is needed, but if you want to bring any of your favorites to work with, go right ahead. We’ll be sitting and standing out in the field, so dress comfortably.
We’ll meet up at the Carriage House in the Center for Urban Agriculture before walking out to our wildflower meadow together.
Cost is $30 for members and $35 for non-members with registration button below.
