 Straw Bale Gardening Workshop

bale2Straw bale gardening is a great way to grow food on limited space without disturbing the landscape.  This is a popular gardening technique with folks who rent homes or who have limited mobility.  Join us the morning of Saturday, March 25 to learn how to start a straw bale garden at your home.

John Tullock – a local garden guru, author, and authority on straw bale gardens – will lead the workshop.  John is the author of 20 how-to books covering a range of topics from aquariums, to orchids, to growing food. A UT alumnus, he recently retired from years of self-employment as a marketing consultant specializing in sustainability issues.

The Straw Bale Gardening class will be held Saturday, March 25 at 9am. Get more information and register today!
