Worm Composting Workshop
January 26, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
You’ve heard of farm to table– now come learn how to complete the circle, by going table to farm (or garden)!
Participants will learn how to transform their household kitchen scraps into a rich, fine, and nutritious soil amendment for their gardens. Come prepared to learn about worm care and compare vermicompost techniques. Participants who are interested in building their own bins can bring a 3 gal or 10 gal Roughneck Rubbermaid tote or a small, resealable container to transport worms. (Please do not being overly large bins, as we will not have sufficient supplies on hand to fill it.)
Compost Tea will also be covered in this workshop!
