Gardening for Wildlife

July 22, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Have you ever considered how your garden and landscape could become healthy habitat for native wildlife, including pollinators and birds? Whether you are concerned with combatting habitat destruction, prefer the look of a more natural landscape, or just want the opportunity to see wildlife close up, this workshop is for you!  Join us for a morning led by Brian Campbell and Dan Steinhoff in which you will learn ways to beautify your property while also providing the basic needs of birds, pollinators, and other native wildlife.

Brian Campbell, Director of  Horticulture at KBGA, takes great interest in creating landscapes that are not only beautiful, but also provide habitat for native wildlife in the middle of the city!

Dan Steinhoff, Master Gardener and liaison for the KBGA pollinator garden, recruits and leads maintenance sessions yielding an excellent example of the beauty and usefulness of wildlife gardening.
