Join us from 9am-11am Saturday, January 21 for a worm composting workshop. Participants will learn how to transform their household kitchen scraps into a rich, fine, and nutritious soil amendment for their gardens. This class will be led by local Master Gardener and compost enthusiast Don Fike and our own Center for Urban Agriculture Manager Amanda Spangler. Come prepared to learn about worm care and compare vermicompost techniques. Participants who are interested in building their own bins can bring a 3 gal or 10 gal Roughneck Rubbermaid tote or a small, resealable container to transport worms.
