Seed-to-Plate: Flavoring with Herbs

We have a treat for this Seed-to-Plate workshop! Rex Bradford Jones, formerly of Bradford Catered Events, is going to treat us to a number of recipes centered around herbs commonly found in many of our home gardens: mint, lavender, thyme, basil, parsley, and more!
About the instructor: In 1982 Rex became concessionaire for the Knoxville Zoo – overseeing concessions, the Environment restaurant, and catering of social and business functions. In 1992 he opened Abner’s Attic in the historic Baker Peters House and continued off-site catering. With the interest and talent of Rex’s son Bradford, the company expanded and in 2013 Bradford Catered Events was born. B.C.E. was sold in 2018 allowing Rex and Bradford to pursue other interests. Rex Continues to enjoy cooking for family and friends.
