Community Garden Cleanup

November 19, 2016 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us in the Center for Urban Agriculture for a volunteer workday!  We need your help to prepare our community garden for exciting developments in the next season.  Volunteers are needed to remove Bermuda grass and other weeds, spread mulch, and clear brush from plots.

Bring your water bottle and gardening gloves if you prefer to use your own, and dress comfortably for working outside in the gardens.  We recommend that volunteers wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.

Volunteers may use our CUA entrance from 2649 Boyd’s Bridge Pike, or they may park at the Visitors Center at 2743 Wimpole Avenue and walk to the site.

Fill out the form below to register for this month’s Volunteer Workday. Registration appreciated but not required.  Questions?  Email cua@knoxgarden.org for more information.
