In this workshop, participants will learn how to make basic collagraph printing plates using natural cuttings of conifers and evergreens and then make one-of-a-kind printed notecards. This workshop will engage mixed media, exploration of the Gardens conifer collections, and mindful observations of the unique visual details of conifer species that aid in identifying them. Participants will take home a collection of hand printed notecards and a handmade printing plate, which can be used again and again.
