There is nothing like fresh produce from a summer garden. Join us as we learn from Vivian Williams about ways to keep that rich flavor in the kitchen even after the garden begins winter hibernation! Come ready for a hands on canning demonstration in our newly renovated kitchen at the Mule Barn. Not only will you leave with your own freshly canned produce, but with the energy and confidence to grow and prepare your own fresh foods at home!
Vivian Williams, chairperson for National Women in Agriculture, is passionate about teaching her community how to grow and prepare food through the use of backyard and container gardens and home canning techniques.
